Distributed Data Acquisition & Control System. Analog & Discrete I/O Modules NL series for Industrial Automation

I/O Modules NL series are manufactured in two modifications: with Modbus RTU and DCON protocol. They are software-compatible with ADAM-5000 and I-7000 series from Advantech and ICP DAS. The modules can be connected to any PC or controller, NLcon-CE for example. NL-series can be used for building the industrial data acquisition and control system  with I\O channel number up to 8000.

The main features of NL-series are:

  • 11 types of protections from careless use and emergencies (see User Manual);
  • industrial temperature range from -40 up to +70 ;
  • using smart swithes from IRF instead of ordinary transistors for discrete output construction;
  • hardware diagnostics of short ciruits and wire disconnections in sensor lines;
  • lesser power supply (0,6...1 W));
  • the most of input modules in series have the outputs that allowed us to embed PID controller in each analog module;
  • each module has 26 terminals in compare with 20 terminals in analogs. It allowed us to increase the I/O numbers and to made them identically;
  • "hot replacement" possibility, that is without power supply disconnection;
  • double watchdog timer make the system restart in the case of suspension or power supply failure and set the module outputs in safe states in the case of the main computer suspension;
  • group isolation of inputs and outputs 2500 V;
  • supply voltage from 10 to 30 V
  • analog input module NL-8AI has two options: 16 single or 8 differential inputs..

NL-series has Russian measuring certificate and Russian Rostechnadzor permission to use module for dangerous industrial plants.
